The Chief Minister said that along with bringing children to schools, the Balochistan government has recruited more than 15,000 teachers on merit to strengthen the teaching process, while numerous projects are also ongoing for improving basic facilities and the teaching environment in educational institutions.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that more than 2,000 new schools have been established under the Balochistan Education Foundation, while work is ongoing on establishing an additional 1,800 schools. He said that a project for constructing additional classrooms in single-room schools of the province is also ongoing, aimed at providing students a better, safer, and more suitable educational environment. The Chief Minister, paying tribute to all teachers of Balochistan on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day, said that a teacher is not merely one who imparts knowledge but plays a fundamental role in shaping children’s personality, character, and thinking. The services of teachers in building an aware, educated, and responsible society will always be remembered.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti said that the Balochistan government will continue measures for a better teaching environment for teachers, opportunities for professional development, and the provision of quality educational facilities for students.
