Quetta Police Solve Six-Year-Old Boy’s Murder Case, Arrest Aunt

QUETTA:Police in Quetta have solved the murder case of a six-year-old boy whose body was found stuffed inside a sack near his home last month, arresting his paternal aunt in connection with the killing.
According to the Serious Crime Investigation Wing (SCIW), six-year-old **Ali Shah** went missing on August 22, 2026. His body was later found concealed in a sack near his house.
Investigators said they examined various pieces of evidence, available information, contacts and technical data during the investigation. By linking the evidence and analysing different aspects of the case, police eventually traced the investigation to the boy’s paternal aunt.
The SCIW subsequently conducted an operation and arrested the suspect.
According to police, the woman confessed during interrogation that she had killed the child because of domestic disputes and personal animosity.
Police said Ali Shah’s body had initially been concealed inside a water tank at the house for two days. After the body began to emit an odour, the suspect allegedly removed it, placed it inside a sack and dumped it near the house.
Ali Shah was the son of a police employee, according to police.
