Increase in Petroleum Product Prices Is Equivalent to Breaking the Back of the Poor: ANP Will Not Remain Silent — Zamrak Khan Achakzai
Quetta (Daily Qudrat Quetta) — Awami National Party Parliamentary Leader Engineer Zamrak Khan Achakzai, expressing severe concern over the recent increase in petroleum product prices, has said that the increase in petrol and diesel prices is equivalent to placing a further economic burden on the poor.
In his issued statement, he made clear that this increase has broken the back of the public, and a new storm of inflation has further added to the difficulties of the already distressed common man.
Engineer Zamrak Khan Achakzai said that the effects of petroleum products becoming more expensive will directly fall on the prices of transport, food items, and other daily-use items, which will begin a new series of inflation and further crush the public already suffering from financial difficulties.
He strongly demanded that the federal government immediately withdraw the increase in petroleum product prices and provide relief to the public. The ANP parliamentary leader announced in unequivocal terms that the Awami National Party will under no circumstances remain silent against this anti-people inflation and will continue to raise a strong voice on every forum for the resolution of the public’s difficulties.
