Woman Gets Final Relief from Supreme Court After Nearly Five Decades Without Inherited Property

ISLAMABAD:A woman from Dera Ismail Khan has finally received relief from the Supreme Court after being deprived of her inherited property for nearly half a century.

The Supreme Court dismissed the opposing party’s petition and ordered implementation of a 2022 judgment in favor of Zaitoon Bibi.

The bench comprising Justice Munib Akhtar, Justice Malik Shahzad and Justice Salahuddin Panhwar issued the ruling, which was authored by Justice Salahuddin Panhwar.
