Five Bullet-Riddled Bodies Found Near Datu on National Highway in Mastung
MASTUNG – Five bullet-riddled bodies were recovered from the roadside near the Datu turn on the RCD National Highway in Mastung district, sending a wave of panic through the area, officials and sources said on Sunday .
According to police, all five individuals appeared to have been subjected to severe torture before being shot and killed by unknown assailants. The bodies were reportedly dumped at the location .
Police have shifted the bodies to Nawab Ghous Bakhsh Raisani Memorial Hospital for identification and post-mortem. However, reports from the area indicated that the recovery and transfer faced delays due to the hospital administration’s refusal to send an ambulance to the site, raising questions about the hospital CEO’s performance . The bodies reportedly remained at the scene for several hours .
Security forces and local residents were present at the scene as the investigation continued. Authorities are working to ascertain the identities of the deceased and the circumstances surrounding the killings. No group has immediately claimed responsibility for the attack .
