Bushra Bibi Compares Imran Khan to a Lotus Flower, Urges Judges and Lawyers to Join November 24 Protest

Islamabad:In a powerful video message, Bushra Bibi, the wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, has compared her husband to a lotus flower, symbolizing purity and righteousness amidst the political chaos of Pakistan. Her statement comes as PTI ramps up preparations for the planned nationwide protest on November 24.

Bushra Bibi described Imran Khan as a symbol of hope in the country’s political landscape, saying, “In the entire political system of Pakistan, Imran Khan is like a lotus flower in the mud.” She emphasized that while the country’s current rulers are caught up in a power struggle, Imran Khan is fighting for true freedom and justice for the nation.

In her message, Bushra Bibi made an emotional appeal to judges and lawyers to join the November 24 protest, stating that Imran Khan is fighting for the supremacy of the Constitution and the rule of law. “Imran Khan is struggling for the supremacy of law in the country, so it is your duty to be a part of this movement,” she urged.

Addressing the petitions being filed to prevent PTI’s protest, she condemned these efforts, calling them an injustice that must come to an end. She warned against becoming like Yazid, who, despite being a Muslim, resorted to oppression out of pride. “Yazid was also a Muslim, but his arrogance led him to commit injustice,” she said.

Bushra Bibi further clarified that the date for the November 24 protest could only be changed if Imran Khan is released from prison, and he himself addresses the nation and provides a future course of action. She firmly stated that the protest would go ahead as planned unless her husband is freed and able to lead it personally.
