QUETTA – Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Balochistan on Sports and Youth Affairs, Ms. Meena Majeed Baloch, has stated that September 6, 1965, is a memorable day in our defensive history that can never be forgotten.
In her special message, she said that on this day, the Pakistani Army not only defended the motherland but also conveyed a clear message to the world that Pakistan possesses the full capability to defeat any form of aggression. She added that the cowardly enemy attacked Lahore under the cover of darkness, and the entire world witnessed how the brave sons of Pakistan’s armed forces repelled the enemy with unparalleled bravery.
The Provincial Adviser said that the valiant youth of Pakistan proved through their timeless sacrifices that nations win wars not through weapons but through faith and courage. She further stated that world history is unable to present any other example matching the everlasting tales of bravery written by the Pakistan Army.
Ms. Meena Majeed Baloch paid glowing tribute to the immortal sacrifices of the great martyrs of the beloved homeland, saying that the brave soldiers who laid down their lives for the defense of the nation are saluted by the people. She said that the martyrs who sacrificed their precious lives for the defense of the homeland are our honor, dignity, and pride.
She stated that today the entire nation expresses complete solidarity with the martyrs of the homeland and their families. She reaffirmed her resolve, saying that today we must renew our commitment that we will not hesitate to sacrifice our lives for the defense of the homeland.
She said that on September 6, Defence Day, the entire nation pays heartfelt tribute to the Pakistan Army. The victory in the battle of truth has raised the spirits of the nation, and we all salute our armed forces. She concluded by saying that this memorable day of September 6 reminds us of the spirit of sacrifice of the martyrs and veterans and their unwavering resolve to defend the homeland.
