Governor Balochistan Highlights Educational Progress in Zhob Division

Quetta:Governor Balochistan, **Jafar Khan Mandokhail**, has said that the province’s consistent hard work and visionary educational planning are now showing results. For the first time, **five talented students from BUITEMS Zhob Campus have been selected to pursue further studies in China**, marking a new milestone in academic collaboration and excellence.

Speaking at the Governor House Quetta during a meeting with Coordinator to Governor Shehryar Khan Mandokhail, BUITEMS Zhob Campus Rector Dr. Abdul Salam Khan Lodhi, and Zhob Boys Degree College Principal Prof. Abdul Rehman, the governor expressed his satisfaction that the dream of transforming Zhob Division into a significant educational hub was becoming a reality.

He acknowledged that ensuring the proper functioning of schools and colleges in the region and maintaining teacher attendance had been a major challenge, but credited the education department and district administration for their commendable efforts.

Governor Mandokhail also revealed plans to organize a **major educational seminar at the divisional level**, calling on his coordinator to expedite arrangements in collaboration with government officials and education experts.

He further highlighted an **olive plantation initiative** at Zhob Campus, which began with six plants and is set to expand to 14,000 trees. These, he noted, will help reduce university expenses and contribute to a greener environment. The governor also stressed the need to **shift the campus from conventional electricity to solar power**, a move that would not only cut costs but also promote sustainability.

“Every conscious citizen has a national duty to ease people’s lives and enlighten the minds of our new generation with modern knowledge,” the governor said, adding that collective, impartial efforts would pave the way for a brighter future for Zhob and its people.
