Lawlessness in Bhag, Kachhi: National Party Accuses Authorities of Collusion with Criminals

Quetta:Changiz Hayee Baloch Advocate, Provincial General Secretary of the National Party, has strongly condemned the deteriorating law and order situation in Bhag and the Kachhi region, stating that citizens, particularly Hindu traders and businessmen, are at the mercy of armed gangs along the Sibi-Dera Murad Jamali national highway. He accused the police, Levies, and civil administration of complete failure and complicity in ongoing crimes.

In a statement released on Friday, Changiz Hayee Baloch said that organized groups of dacoits are looting citizens in broad daylight in Bhag city, frequently targeting members of the Hindu community and other local traders. He claimed that security forces have become mere spectators, while the administrative machinery remains paralyzed.

“It is now clear that the institutions responsible for public safety are equally complicit in the looting of Hindu traders and civilians,” said Baloch. He warned that the orchestrated attacks on the Hindu business community appear to be part of a broader conspiracy aimed at destabilizing the economic and social fabric of Bhag. He called the Hindu community and traders a “beautiful chapter” in Bhag’s history and warned that forcing them to shut down businesses would lead to the downfall of the city itself.

Changiz Hayee Baloch also stated that the current state of lawlessness, where political workers and business owners live in constant fear, is unprecedented. He warned that if the police and security forces fail to restore peace in Kachhi, Bhag, and Nasirabad, it would be evident that they are collaborating with criminal elements.

The National Party, he announced, will soon launch a coordinated political movement to expose and resist the growing influence of criminal networks reportedly operating under the protection of local authorities. The party also plans to unite other political forces across Sibi, Bolan, and Nasirabad to restore peace and ensure public safety.

He strongly condemned the recent incident in which a Hindu trader in Bhag was publicly assaulted and robbed, demanding immediate action by the authorities. “This spectacle must end,” he said, calling for the arrest and punishment of those responsible.
