Imran Khan Broke the Two-Family Political System: Sohail Afridi

UMERKOT:Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan broke the political dominance of two families in the country.
Speaking to party workers during his ongoing visit to Sindh, in Umerkot, Afridi said corrupt politicians used to make deals while in jail, but for the first time they had encountered a leader who stood up to them.
He said the opponents had believed that the PTI leader would eventually break under pressure while in prison, but their expectations had not been fulfilled.
The KP chief minister alleged that the “fake government” disregards Supreme Court orders, saying that refusing to accept judicial decisions amounts to undermining the judiciary. He further claimed that the judiciary had become paralyzed following the **27th Constitutional Amendment**.
Afridi said party leaders were not being provided justice and stressed that PTI workers must work to secure the release of Imran Khan from prison.
He warned that if the party and its supporters remained inactive, what he called “looters” would continue to remain in power.
