Major Alert for Pakistanis Traveling to UAE on Visit Visas: Key Restrictions Revealed

ISLAMABAD: Important guidelines have been issued for Pakistani citizens traveling to or residing in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), highlighting several restrictions and legal requirements that must be followed.

The Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment (Islamabad) has advised Pakistani citizens to respect UAE laws and avoid prohibited activities in order to protect themselves from legal and other difficulties.

According to the guidelines, working while on a visit visa is prohibited. Travelers must also ensure that their visas are renewed before they expire. Illegal stay or employment may result in legal action and other complications.

Pakistani citizens have also been advised to avoid posting objectionable content on social media against the UAE government, culture or sensitive matters. Permission should be obtained before photographing or recording videos of sensitive or important locations.

In case of any dispute, citizens have been advised not to take the law into their own hands and instead contact the police. They have also been instructed to stay away from illegal protests or demonstrations.

The Bureau further stressed the importance of respecting women and avoiding any form of harassment. Pakistani travelers have also been advised to respect seats designated for women on public transportation.

In addition, Pakistani citizens have been urged to refrain from illegal activities, comply with visa regulations and not carry prohibited medicines into the UAE.

Authorities have emphasized that following local laws and visa regulations is essential for Pakistani citizens visiting or residing in the UAE to avoid legal complications.
