Five Foreign Nationals Arrested in Saudi Arabia Over Alleged Murder

RIYADH: Saudi authorities have arrested five foreign nationals and launched an investigation into their alleged involvement in the killing of a man in the Makkah region.

According to Saudi newspaper Al-Marsad, police in the Makkah region arrested the five foreign nationals after they allegedly entered Saudi Arabia in violation of border laws.

The suspects reportedly became involved in an altercation at a location in Ranyah with another man who was also allegedly attempting to enter Saudi territory illegally.

A video circulating on social media reportedly shows the suspects assaulting the man during the dispute. He sustained serious injuries in the attack and later died from his wounds.

Saudi authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident and the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.

Authorities have warned residents that assisting or providing accommodation to anyone who enters the country illegally is a serious offense under Saudi law and may result in legal penalties.

The authorities also urged the public to immediately report anyone who enters Saudi territory illegally so that timely action can be taken against those involved.
