Noorzai murder proof of imposed government’s negligence and incompetence: PkMAP

QUETTA: Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party has strongly condemned the killing of party member and prominent businessman Salahuddin Khan Noorzai, calling the incident proof of the negligence, carelessness and incompetence of what it termed the “imposed so-called government” formed under Form-47.

In a press release issued by the party’s provincial secretariat, PkMAP said Noorzai’s young son was abducted for ransom eight months ago and crores of rupees were demanded. The entire administration, government and security institutions failed to recover the abducted youth, while the father continued to receive threatening messages, demands for payment of crores of rupees for his son’s release and threats to his life.

The party alleged that the government and law-enforcement agencies showed no seriousness. Last night, unknown assailants shot Salahuddin Khan dead in Quetta, while his son remains missing.

PkMAP expressed deep grief and demanded the immediate arrest of Noorzai’s killers and their production before the law. It also called for emergency measures without delay to secure the release of his abducted son.
