Sarfraz Bugti Is Balochistan’s Constitutional and Elected CM, Cooperation With State Institutions Is His Duty: Hayat Achakzai

Quetta: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Balochistan leader Hayat Khan Achakzai has said that Sarfraz Bugti is the constitutional and elected Chief Minister of Balochistan and is working with all pillars of the state and security institutions, within the framework of the Constitution, to restore peace and promote public welfare in the province.

Achakzai said that cooperating with national institutions within constitutional and legal limits does not mean being anyone’s “man”; rather, it is the constitutional responsibility of a responsible and senior administrative leader.

He said that if Sarfraz Bugti was being described as a person associated with the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), “then it is a matter of pride that he stands with the country and the state, rather than following the agendas of foreign elements like so-called politicians.”

Achakzai said criticism was everyone’s political right, but instead of promoting negative narratives, political opponents should offer practical suggestions for improving the lives of the people of Balochistan, particularly in education, healthcare and employment.

He said Sarfraz Bugti’s priority was the province’s peace and development rather than political allegations.

“The people will ultimately decide his performance,” Hayat Khan Achakzai said.
