JUI-F Balochistan Expresses Grave Concern Over Deteriorating Law and Order, Demands Accountability from Government

Quetta: The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) Balochistan has expressed serious concern over the worsening law and order situation in the province, particularly the recent kidnapping of the Assistant Commissioner of Ziarat’s son. In a press release, the party condemned the incident, describing it as a clear reflection of the government’s failure to maintain security.
The press release stated that Ziarat, which has long been known as one of the most peaceful areas of Balochistan, has witnessed an unpleasant and tragic event due to the negligence and incompetence of the district administration. JUI-F strongly condemned such incidents and called for immediate action to ensure the safe recovery of the abducted individuals.
The statement further demanded that the government and law enforcement agencies take decisive steps to apprehend the terrorists responsible for the kidnapping. The party accused the government of providing impunity to the killers of innocent citizens, leaving the public defenseless.
“The law and order situation is completely destroyed, and the government must acknowledge its failure and step down. The people of Balochistan are living in fear and insecurity, and the criminal silence of the rulers is unacceptable,” the statement said.
JUI-F criticized the current system, stating, “What kind of law is it where respected citizens are openly abducted and terrorists roam freely?” The party emphasized that all claims of security and peace by the ruling government have been proven false. The people’s patience has run out, and they can no longer tolerate such inaction.
The press release also held the provincial government accountable for the growing unrest in Balochistan, stating that the current administration has failed to protect its citizens. It further called for the resignation of all officials responsible for criminal negligence and poor governance.
JUI-F also questioned the effectiveness of security measures in Ziarat, which is surrounded by check posts and security personnel. Despite this, such a large-scale abduction took place, highlighting the administrative failure. The party called for the immediate suspension of all relevant district officers and an investigation into the incident.
The statement concluded by demanding that all responsible officials be held accountable, and immediate measures be taken to restore law and order in Balochistan.
