Hafiz Hamdullah Strongly Reacts to Balochistan CM Sarfraz Bugti’s Statement

QUETTA: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) leader Hafiz Hamdullah has strongly reacted to a statement by Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti, in which the chief minister reportedly said that if firing takes place from orchards, the owners would be considered facilitators and action would be taken against them.

Reacting to the statement, Hafiz Hamdullah said sarcastically, “Bravo, sir! If thieves enter a house and robbers flee, does the owner of the house become the robber?”

He further remarked, “This is not law; it is the funeral of logic being given official protocol by the fake government.”

Hafiz Hamdullah said the situation amounted to treating the wrong problem, adding, “It is like having the illness somewhere else and administering the treatment somewhere else.”

He questioned the logic of holding orchard owners responsible for firing incidents and said that the actual circumstances and those responsible for such incidents should be addressed rather than placing blame on property owners.
