ISLAMABAD: Pakistan received a total of $763 million in foreign loans and grants during the first month of the 2026-27 fiscal year, despite lower disbursements from bilateral and multilateral lenders.

According to the latest figures, the country received $694.5 million in foreign loans and grants during July 2025, compared with $763 million in July 2026.

Pakistan also recorded a significant increase in foreign funding through New Pakistan Certificates (NPCs), with inflows rising through both conventional and Islamic modes.
