Brutal Killing of Six-Year-Old Child and Police Negligence Condemned: JUI

QUETTA: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Quetta chapter has strongly condemned the brutal killing of a six-year-old child whose body was found stuffed in a sack in Nisa Bazal Road, Quetta, after he had remained missing for three days.

JUI Quetta leaders, including district chief Sheikh-ul-Hadith Maulana Abdul Rehman Rafiq, General Secretary Haji Ainullah Shams and other senior party figures, expressed deep grief and sorrow over the tragic incident.

They said the killing of an innocent child and leaving his body in front of his home was a deeply inhumane act that had shocked every sensitive member of society.

The JUI leaders criticised the police and administration for what they described as a lack of seriousness and effective efforts to locate and recover the child during the three days he remained missing.

They said that had timely action been taken, the tragedy might have been prevented.

The leaders criticised what they described as a tendency within the police system to consider their responsibility fulfilled merely after registering a First Information Report (FIR).

They stressed that practical measures were essential for protecting citizens and ensuring the timely recovery of missing persons.

The JUI leaders also demanded legal action against police officers and officials found responsible for negligence or dereliction of duty in the case.

They said such brutal incidents reflected growing indifference, insecurity and lawlessness in society. The killing of an innocent child and the unbearable suffering inflicted on his family was an extreme act of cruelty and brutality.

The leaders demanded an immediate, transparent and impartial investigation into the incident and called for the swift arrest of the alleged killers and their facilitators.

They said the suspects must be given exemplary punishment in accordance with the law.

The JUI leaders stressed that the government and relevant institutions had a responsibility to ensure the protection of the lives and property of all citizens, particularly children, and to take practical measures to prevent such tragic and inhumane incidents in the future.
