Country Plunged into Uncertainty Due to Stolen Mandate, JUI to Assert Its Rights in PB-36 and Khuzdar: Senator Maulana Abdul Wasi

Quetta: Senator Maulana Abdul Wasi, Amir of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Balochistan, stated that the country is facing political uncertainty due to the disregard of the public mandate in elections, with preferred candidates being imposed instead of the people’s true representatives.
In a statement, Maulana Abdul Wasi said that tyrannical forces often unite against the Muslim community, but the challenges facing the Ummah today demand that the righteous also respond with unity, insight, and courage. He emphasized that JUI has always been the voice of oppressed communities and will continue to raise its firm and effective voice against injustice, both nationally and internationally.
Addressing the issue of Palestine, he asserted that no occupying force has the right over Palestinian land, which belongs to its people, and that the international community must recognize this fact. JUI will continue to support the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination and act as a strong and influential voice against global injustice.
Discussing domestic politics, Maulana Abdul Wasi said that the imposition of artificial leadership over the true will of the people is the root cause of political instability, particularly in Balochistan. He highlighted that JUI enjoys a clear majority in PB-36 and Khuzdar’s National Assembly seat and vowed to defend this mandate at all costs. He stressed that if necessary, the public will be mobilized to protect their democratic rights.
He condemned recent electoral malpractices as damaging to democracy, creating public disenchantment and distrust in the system. He warned that repeated disregard for the public mandate could discourage voters from participating in future elections.
Maulana Abdul Wasi reaffirmed JUI’s commitment to democratic and parliamentary solutions, while vowing to resist any attempts to undermine the people’s mandate. He pledged that the party will continue its struggle at all levels to defend democratic values and the rights of oppressed nations.
