‘Saranan Incident Was Orchestrated by Black Sheep Within Government,’ Alleges Mahmood Achakzai

ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Mahmood Khan Achakzai has alleged that the recent incident in Saranan was the work of “black sheep” within the government.

Speaking during the National Assembly session, Achakzai said no one had paid attention to what happened in Saranan over the past two days and strongly criticized those responsible.

He alleged that elements within the government were behind the incident, saying, “The Saranan incident is the handiwork of black sheep within the government.”

Discussing the situation surrounding PTI founder Imran Khan, Achakzai claimed that Imran Khan’s sister was confined to another room at the hospital.

He said people across Pakistan had been pleased when reports emerged that Imran Khan would be shifted to Shifa International Hospital under the Supreme Court’s orders.

However, he expressed disappointment that people later learned during the night that Imran Khan had been transferred to another hospital.

Achakzai alleged that certain elements within the current government were deliberately attempting to sabotage relations and negotiations between the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the government.

He stressed that such actions could further damage the political environment and undermine efforts to establish meaningful dialogue between the political sides.
