Peshawar Police Arrest Groom and 11 Others for Aerial Firing at Wedding

Peshawar:A wedding celebration turned costly for a groom in Peshawar after police arrested him along with 11 others for aerial firing during the event.
According to Peshawar Police, intense aerial firing took place during a wedding ceremony in the Forest Bazaar area of **Tehkal**, and videos of the incident were later posted on social media. Senior police officials took immediate notice and ordered the arrest of those involved.
Under the supervision of **DSP Town Circle Arbab Naeem Haider**, police traced and apprehended all suspects, including the groom, identified as **Jibran**.
Police recovered a **LMG gun, an M4 rifle, two Kalashnikovs, and a pistol** from the possession of the arrested individuals. A case has been registered at Tehkal Police Station, and further investigation is underway.
Authorities reiterated that aerial firing is a criminal offense and poses a serious danger to public safety.
