Farah Khan Reveals Her Daughters Sometimes Feel Insecure About Their Looks

MUMBAI: Bollywood filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan has revealed that her daughters sometimes struggle with insecurities about their appearance despite growing up in a loving and supportive environment.

During a recent vlog conversation with Akanksha Chaudhary, Farah discussed young people’s concerns about appearance, self-confidence and the growing pressure created by social media.

She said her daughters have been raised with plenty of love and encouragement, but there are still occasions when they do not feel satisfied with the way they look.

Farah explained that her daughters sometimes feel that they are not beautiful, highlighting how appearance-related insecurities can affect young people regardless of the supportive environment in which they grow up.

Discussing unrealistic beauty standards on social media, Farah said young people are constantly exposed to edited photographs, beauty filters and seemingly perfect social media posts. According to her, such content can influence how young people perceive themselves and affect their confidence.

She also pointed out that children of celebrities face additional public attention, comparisons and expectations, which can intensify pressure related to physical appearance.

Farah Khan and her husband, filmmaker Shirish Kunder, are parents to three children — Anya, Diva and Czar.

Although Farah has shared photographs from her children’s early years with fans, she has largely kept their private lives away from the spotlight as they have grown older.
