Indian Actress Karishma Sharma Jumps from Moving Train for Friends, Hospitalized with Injuries
MUMBAI: Popular Indian actress Karishma Sharma was hospitalized after jumping from a moving local train in Mumbai in an attempt to help her friends, Indian media reported.
According to entertainment portal *Bollywood Shaadis*, the incident occurred a few days ago when the actress was traveling to Churchgate for a shoot. Her friends were unable to board the fast-moving train, prompting her to leap off in solidarity.
Sharma sustained injuries to her head, back, and other parts of her body. She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors conducted an MRI scan. Fortunately, no serious injuries were found, and her condition is now improving. Doctors have advised her to take complete rest.
The actress’s dramatic move, reminiscent of a film stunt, shocked her colleagues and worried her fans, many of whom reminded her that she was not on a movie set.
