CM Balochistan Urges Scholarship Students to Promote Pakistan’s Unity

QUETTA:Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti held a meeting with students selected on scholarships to pursue higher education at universities in different provinces.
The students engaged in a detailed dialogue with the chief minister on development projects, governance and other issues. A lengthy question-and-answer session was also held during the meeting.
Bugti said the merit-based selection of students from different districts of Balochistan for scholarships would help secure their bright educational future.
He said most of the scholarship recipients belonged to low- and middle-income families and described the opportunity for Balochistan’s youth to study in leading universities across the country as a source of great satisfaction.
The chief minister said the Punjab government was also supporting Baloch students by providing assistance with tuition and hostel fees in addition to university admissions.
He thanked Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on behalf of the people of Balochistan for supporting the students.
Bugti urged students studying at universities in other provinces to make discipline and hard work their guiding principles and to fulfill the expectations of their parents through their education.
He also advised the students to remain cautious of anti-state organizations and propaganda, saying that certain elements were negatively influencing students by presenting an unbalanced picture of development.
“Students need to remain vigilant against such elements,” he said.
Bugti said Pakistan was created to endure and would continue to exist. He urged students from Balochistan to promote a sense of Pakistani identity wherever they went, describing them as ambassadors of the country.
“Wherever you go, promote Pakistan and its unity. You are ambassadors of the country,” the chief minister said.
