Pakistan’s First Interior Ministry Facilitation Centre Under Construction in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD:Construction is underway in Islamabad’s F-6 sector for the first modern public facilitation centre established by the Ministry of Interior to provide a wide range of services to citizens under one roof.
According to the Ministry of Interior, the facility will bring services provided by the ministry and all its subordinate departments together at a single location for the first time in Pakistan.
The centre will offer services including licences, no-objection certificates (NOCs), visas, identity cards, passports and other public services administered by the Ministry of Interior.
The facility will also feature a modern public dealing hall, service counters and a spacious waiting area to improve convenience for citizens.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the under-construction facility in F-6 and reviewed the ongoing construction work. He directed the relevant authorities to complete the project at the earliest.
Naqvi said similar public facilitation centres would soon be established in other cities to provide citizens with easier access to government services.
