40 Arrested in Karachi Gambling Den Raid at Turtle Beach

Karachi — Police in the Keamari district uncovered a major gambling operation during a raid at a hut near Turtle Beach in the Mauripur area, arresting 40 suspects including an alleged female ringleader.

According to a Keamari police spokesperson, the raid was carried out by Mauripur police under the supervision of the station house officer, with a heavy contingent of personnel. The suspects were caught red-handed while gambling.

Police identified the key suspect as Zubaida alias Adeeba, described as a betting organizer who was allegedly running and supervising the operation. She had reportedly been wanted in connection with gambling activities in the city.

During the operation, authorities recovered Rs255,500 in cash—believed to be betting money—along with gambling equipment.

A case has been registered against the arrested individuals at Mauripur police station, and further investigation is underway.
