Trump Threatens Iran, Says US Naval Blockade Has Become an ‘Iron Wall

US President Donald Trump has issued a strong warning to Iran, claiming that the US naval blockade has become an “iron wall” that Tehran is unable to challenge.

In a statement posted on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump sharply criticized Iran’s military capabilities, claiming that the country no longer has an effective navy or air force and that some remaining Iranian military personnel are not receiving their salaries.

Trump also claimed that US forces had inflicted severe damage on Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), forcing its members to retreat from the Strait of Hormuz. He further asserted that US forces now have complete control over the strategic waterway and that Iran’s leadership is facing growing uncertainty.

The US president also criticized Iran’s economic condition, claiming that the country had run out of money and that its economy had been devastated. Trump alleged that inflation in Iran had reached as high as 300 percent and warned that the situation was continuing to deteriorate.

Describing Iran as the “rogue” of the Middle East, Trump said the country no longer holds the position it once did. He concluded his Truth Social post with the words, “Praise be to Allah.”

Trump’s remarks come amid a sharp decline in commercial shipping through the Strait of Hormuz. According to Al Jazeera, only eight vessels passed through the strait on Tuesday, compared with around 130 to 140 vessels a day before the war.

The Strait of Hormuz is one of the world’s most important maritime trade routes, and the continuing tensions have increased pressure on global energy supplies and oil markets.
