Minister of State Wajiha Qamar Visits Cybersecurity and AI Training Center in Quetta

Quetta:Federal Minister of State for Education and Professional Training **Wajiha Qamar** visited the **NAVTTC’s Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence training center** at Inovista DHA Quetta, where she reviewed ongoing skill development programs for youth under the government’s digital training initiative.

During the visit, **Director Inovista Colonel (R) Imran Taqeer** briefed the minister about the ongoing **three-month advanced courses** being conducted under NAVTTC, with **50 students enrolled in each batch.** He highlighted that a **biometric attendance system** has been implemented to ensure transparency and discipline.

Colonel Taqeer noted that the youth of Balochistan are **hardworking, confident, and eager to contribute** to Pakistan’s development through emerging technologies.

Wajiha Qamar interacted with trainees, observed their classes, and appreciated their enthusiasm. Addressing the students, she said:

> “Pakistan’s youth are our most valuable asset. The time has passed when young people waited for jobs — now, we must empower them with skills so they can create their own opportunities.”

She added that under the federal government’s initiative, **53,000 youth from Balochistan** are being trained in **artificial intelligence and cybersecurity**, marking a significant step toward the province’s digital empowerment.

The minister also revealed plans to establish **six Danish Schools** in Balochistan to provide modern education and opportunities for talented students.

“Balochistan is close to our hearts,” she said. “We must present its positive image to the world and stand united against India’s malicious designs. Pakistan was founded on the strength of faith, and no enemy can weaken its roots.”

Encouraging students to pursue technology-driven careers, she emphasized that **digital skills and innovation** will lead Pakistan toward a **knowledge-based economy** and align it with developed nations.

At the conclusion of the visit, Wajiha Qamar commended **NAVTTC’s efforts** and assured that more **technical education centers** will be established across Balochistan.

**NAVTTC Director Hussain Bakhsh Magsi** and other senior officials were also present on the occasion.
