Sibi Annual Tablighi Ijtema to Begin on December 18 with Tight Security Arrangements

**Sibi (Daily Qudrat):** The three-day annual Tablighi Ijtema in Sibi is scheduled to be held from December 18 to 21. A high-level meeting was convened under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Sibi, Major Ilyas Kabezi, to review detailed security arrangements for the event.

The meeting was attended by Colonel Shehryar, SSP Sibi Shah Nawaz Chachar, Assistant Commissioner Bakhtiarabad Malik Bahadur Khan Bangulzai, SP Special Branch Muhammad Akram Gashkori, DSP Pir Bakhsh Silachi, officers from law enforcement and intelligence agencies, and religious scholars.

Key decisions were taken to ensure foolproof security considering the arrival of participants from across the country and potential situations during the Ijtema. Deputy Commissioner Major Ilyas Kabezi stated that FC, police, and Levies personnel would perform their duties with full responsibility. Strict checking will be conducted at all entry and exit points of the city, and participants will be allowed to use only designated routes.

He added that the police and traffic department will prepare route plans, a control room will be set up by the police, medical camps and ambulances will be provided by the health department, and the municipal fire brigade will remain on standby.

The Ijtema will conclude on the morning of December 21 with a collective prayer. After the event, no one will be allowed to picnic or stay overnight in the Bolan area, and participants must return directly to their respective destinations.
