Successful Operation Against Terrorists in Sorab: 18 Terrorists Killed, Says Balochistan CM
QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister has praised the successful operation against terrorists in Sorab district, describing it as a clear demonstration of the professionalism, courage and effective strategy of the security forces and Balochistan Police.
The chief minister said that the elimination of 18 terrorists during the operation was highly commendable and reflected the unwavering resolve of the state to eliminate terrorism from the province. He lauded the security forces and law enforcement agencies for their professional performance and for foiling the nefarious designs of terrorist elements.
Expressing deep sorrow over the loss of precious human lives in the terrorist incident, the chief minister said that the government stood shoulder to shoulder with the bereaved families in their hour of grief. He prayed for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks and the speedy recovery of those injured.
The chief minister said that the people of Balochistan wanted peace, development and prosperity, while terrorist elements were seeking to deprive the people of the province of their development journey by creating instability and fear.
He made it clear that indiscriminate action against terrorists, their facilitators and supporters would continue. All relevant institutions would maintain coordinated operations and adopt an integrated strategy to completely eradicate terrorism.
The chief minister stressed that the state would never bow before terrorism and that no compromise would be made on the protection of the lives and property of citizens. He said there was no room for enemies of peace in Balochistan and the writ of the state would be maintained at all costs.
He paid tribute to the sacrifices of security forces and law enforcement personnel, saying their sacrifices for peace in the country and province were a matter of pride for the entire nation. The sacrifices of those who laid down their lives for the security and stability of Balochistan would always be remembered.
The chief minister reiterated that the provincial government, security forces and law enforcement agencies would use all available resources and capabilities to eliminate terrorism completely. He said providing a peaceful environment to the people of Balochistan was the government’s top priority and that the province’s journey towards peace, development and prosperity would continue despite the challenges.
