CM Sarfraz Bugti Says Search Operation Against Militants Continues in Rakhni, Mourns Martyrdom of DSP Murid Bugti

Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has said that security forces and law enforcement agencies are continuing a full-scale search operation against militants in Rakhni, vowing that anti-state elements will not be allowed to succeed in their objectives.
In a statement, the chief minister said security forces are carrying out effective operations against militants and that action against terrorists and their alleged facilitators will continue without discrimination. He added that the authorities would not allow militants to escape or threaten public peace.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of DSP Murid Bugti, who was killed in firing by militants during the operation in Rakhni. He said the sacrifices of the country’s martyrs would always be remembered and described their dedication in the line of duty as a source of inspiration for the nation.
The chief minister praised the sacrifices made by Balochistan Police and security personnel in maintaining peace, saying their commitment had strengthened the state’s resolve to eliminate terrorism.
He reiterated that terrorist elements would be dealt with decisively and that those responsible for disturbing peace would be brought to justice.
Mir Sarfraz Bugti also extended his condolences to the family of the martyred DSP, assuring them that the Balochistan government stands with the families of martyrs and will continue to support them.
He emphasized that protecting the lives and property of citizens remains the government’s top priority and said all necessary measures would continue to ensure lasting peace and security across the province.
