Houthi Ballistic Missile Attack Near Bab al-Mandab Kills Three, Including Two Pakistanis
SANAA: Three crew members were killed, including two Pakistani nationals and one Indonesian citizen, after a commercial vessel came under a ballistic missile attack by Houthi forces near the Bab al-Mandab Strait, according to Al Arabiya News correspondents.
According to the report, the Houthis targeted the commercial vessel with a ballistic missile launched from Yemen’s eastern Taiz province as the ship was passing through the Bab al-Mandab Strait.
Three members of the vessel’s crew were killed in the attack, including two Pakistani citizens. Their identities and further details were not immediately available.
The attack has raised fresh concerns over the safety of commercial shipping in the Bab al-Mandab Strait and the Red Sea.
