Gunmen Open Fire on PPP Leader Qadir Patel’s Office in Karachi

KARACHI:Armed men opened fire on the central office of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Qadir Patel in Clifton Block 5, Karachi, with no casualties reported in the incident.

According to sources, armed attackers travelling in a car opened indiscriminate fire at the office. The attackers specifically targeted the entrance through which Qadir Patel regularly enters and leaves the premises.

Several bullets pierced the door and passed through to the other side. Fortunately, no one was reported killed or injured at the time of the attack.

A heavy contingent of police arrived at the scene shortly after receiving information about the incident, while a forensic team also began examining the crime scene.

Police and forensic experts collected spent bullet casings from the site and examined evidence related to the shooting.

Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the motive behind the attack and identify those responsible.
