Multiple Militants Killed in Intelligence-Based Operations Across KP Over Two Months
Islamabad: Security forces have killed multiple militants during intelligence-based operations carried out across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa over the past two months, according to security sources.
The sources said that under Operation Gharj 11, security forces eliminated several militants and destroyed their hideouts in different areas of the province. The operations also resulted in the arrest of suspected facilitators, while a cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered.
In Bajaur’s Shakro area, security forces targeted militant hideouts, with reports indicating that several militants were killed or injured during the operation. Security personnel also destroyed a number of improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
The operations involved both ground forces and quadcopter support as part of ongoing efforts to eliminate militant networks and strengthen security in the region.
