Woman Arrested in Murder Case of Former PTI Ticket Holder Abdullah Tahir

LAHORE:** Police have arrested a woman allegedly involved in the murder of former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) ticket holder Abdullah Tahir in Sialkot and shifted her to Lahore for further investigation.
According to police, the suspect had lured Abdullah Tahir’s driver through a honey trap and is reportedly a friend of the alleged shooter. Investigators said she had allegedly used similar tactics to trap several other individuals in the past.
Police said another female accomplice contacted Abdullah Tahir’s driver through a social media application. On the day of the incident, a video call took place between the driver and the arrested suspect after they reached the clinic. The suspects allegedly confirmed Abdullah Tahir’s presence inside the clinic before carrying out the attack.
According to police, the suspects also used a drone camera to conduct surveillance and track the victim.
Abdullah Tahir, a PTI leader and former ticket holder, was shot dead at a clinic in Lahore a few days ago. The investigation into the murder and the involvement of other suspects is underway.
