Judicial Commission Recommends Confirmation of Sindh High Court Additional Judges and Extension of Constitutional Benches

Islamabad: The Judicial Commission of Pakistan (Sindh High Court), chaired by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Yahya Afridi, held a meeting at the Supreme Court to discuss the confirmation of additional judges, the reconstitution of constitutional benches, and extension of their tenure.
After reviewing relevant data forms, backgrounds, and available records, the commission recommended the confirmation of the following Sindh High Court additional judges as permanent judges:
Justice Miran Muhammad Shah
Justice Tasneem Sultana
Justice Riazat Ali Sahar
Justice Muhammad Hassan
Justice Abdul Hameed Bhurgi
Justice Jan Ali Junejo
Justice Nisar Ahmed Bhanbhro
Justice Ali Haider Ada
Justice Muhammad Usman Ali Hadi
Justice Muhammad Jafar Raza
The commission also recommended a six-month extension for Additional Judges Justice Khalid Hussain Shahani and Justice Syed Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Shah.
In addition, the Judicial Commission approved the nomination of judges for constitutional benches of the Sindh High Court and extended their tenure by six months. Judges nominated for the constitutional benches include Justice Amjad Ali Bohyo, Justice Muhammad Hassan (Akbar), and Justice Muhammad Usman Ali Hadi.
The decisions were made through a majority vote of the Judicial Commission members.
