Pakistan Cuts Petrol and Diesel Prices Marginally

Islamabad: The federal government has announced a slight reduction in the prices of petroleum products, lowering the price of petrol by Rs0.12 per litre and high-speed diesel by Rs0.66 per litre.
According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, based on the recommendations of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the revised prices will remain effective until August 3.
Under the new pricing, petrol will now cost Rs336.03 per litre, while the price of high-speed diesel has been set at Rs392.38 per litre.
The announcement comes after recent increases in petroleum prices, with the latest adjustment providing only a marginal reduction for consumers.
