Barrister Saif Urges Administrative Reforms, Says New Provinces Could Help Save the System

PESHAWAR: Former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Adviser Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif has said that if creating new provinces and introducing administrative reforms can save the country’s governance system, the government should implement such measures without delay.

In a statement, Barrister Saif said that Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi’s remarks about the system failing amounted to an open admission of the federal government’s failure. He described Naqvi’s comments as a comprehensive indictment of the government’s performance.

Saif warned that if the grievances of young people are not addressed, street protests could become an alternative to Parliament and the courts.

He stressed that the government must take immediate and effective measures before public frustration and anger among the youth intensify further.

Barrister Saif added that if new provinces and administrative reforms are necessary to preserve the system, they should be implemented immediately. He emphasized that improving governance is the only way to restore public confidence in state institutions.
