Actress Arooba Mirza Shares Alleged Screenshots, Claims MPA Saqib Chadhar Repeatedly Tried to Contact Her

LAHORE: Pakistani actress Arooba Mirza has shared alleged screenshots of Instagram messages attributed to Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) Saqib Chadhar, claiming that the politician repeatedly attempted to contact her through social media.
Sharing the alleged screenshots on her Instagram Stories, Arooba Mirza wrote, “Momina Iqbal, Syeda Tooba, and now me too,” suggesting that she had also been approached by the lawmaker. According to her, the messages included attempts to initiate a conversation and requests to continue communicating via Snapchat.
Arooba Mirza’s claims come at a time when Saqib Chadhar is already facing allegations involving actress and television host Syeda Tooba. Those allegations included claims that he had offered an iPhone as a gift, although legal proceedings regarding the matter are currently underway.
Meanwhile, actress Momina Iqbal has also initiated legal action against Saqib Chadhar. According to a petition filed in court, she has accused the provincial lawmaker of cyberstalking, harassment, blackmail, and issuing threats after she allegedly rejected his marriage proposal.
The case has been registered under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) and is being investigated by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA).
Momina Iqbal has repeatedly stated that she is seeking justice and has denied reports suggesting any out-of-court settlement. She has maintained that forensic evidence has further strengthened the investigation, while the case remains pending before the court.
Following Arooba Mirza’s disclosure of the alleged messages, debate surrounding the matter has once again intensified on social media. However, all allegations against Saqib Chadhar remain subject to ongoing legal and judicial proceedings, and no final determination has yet been made by the relevant court or investigating authorities.
