CCTV Footage Emerges in PTI Leader Abdullah Tahir Murder Case

LAHORE: A significant development has emerged in the investigation into the murder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Abdullah Tahir, who was shot dead in Lahore’s Gulberg area, after CCTV footage allegedly showing the suspected attackers surfaced.

According to investigators, the footage shows two suspected gunmen arriving outside the victim’s clinic on a motorcycle. The suspects kept their helmets on even after parking the motorcycle, apparently to conceal their identities.

The CCTV footage reportedly captures both suspects entering the clinic while still wearing their helmets. They were also seen riding through different parts of the market before the attack. Investigators are using the footage to identify and trace the suspects.

Police said Abdullah Tahir’s body has been shifted to the morgue after a post-mortem examination. Authorities are continuing to investigate the case from multiple angles.

Officials added that efforts to arrest the suspects have been intensified with the help of CCTV footage and other available evidence, while legal proceedings related to the murder are also underway.
