Babar Yousafzai: CM Bugti’s Vision Driving Stronger Law and Order in Balochistan

Quetta (Qudrat Daily) — Additional Secretary of the Home Department Balochistan, Babar Yousafzai, has said that comprehensive measures are being taken to further strengthen the law and order situation in the province, thanks to the vision of Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti and the effective policies of the provincial government.He stated that the present government considers the protection of the lives and property of the people as its top priority. All law-enforcement agencies are working day and night in close coordination to establish lasting peace. As a result of the government’s coordinated strategy and the professional efforts of the security agencies, there has been a marked improvement in the law and order situation, and public confidence has also increased.Babar Yousafzai further said that the government is continuing its operations against terrorism, extremism and crime in an even more effective manner, and is implementing a zero-tolerance policy against elements hostile to peace. He made it clear that the dream of sustainable peace cannot be realised without the cooperation of the public. Therefore, citizens should continue to cooperate with law-enforcement agencies and immediately report any suspicious activity to the relevant authorities.Reaffirming the department’s commitment, the Additional Secretary said that the Home Department Balochistan is fully discharging its responsibilities for the establishment of peace, the protection of the public and the achievement of sustainable stability in the province. He added that durable peace is the foundation of development, investment, business activity and prosperity, and that the Balochistan government will continue to take every possible step to turn the province into a peaceful, secure and progressive region.
