One Worker Killed, Six Missing After Armed Men Abduct Laborers in Balochistan’s Turbat

Turbat: Unidentified armed men reportedly abducted seven laborers after setting up a roadblock on a main highway in the Kalatak area of Turbat, Balochistan, according to police sources.
Police said the abducted workers included four Punjabis and three Pashtuns, who were traveling back to Turbat from Kalatak when their vehicle was stopped by the assailants.
According to the sources, the body of one of the abducted Pashtun laborers, bearing gunshot wounds, was later found in the Surag area. The remaining six workers—four Punjabis and two Pashtuns—remain missing.
During the incident, a local passerby, identified as Abdul Razzaq, was also killed after being caught in the crossfire.
Following the attack, police and other law enforcement agencies launched a search operation in the area to locate the missing workers and apprehend those responsible. Authorities have not yet identified the attackers or announced any arrests.
