Hazara Community Remembers 10th January Martyrs on 13th Anniversary, HDP Pays Tribute

**Quetta (Daily Qudrat Quetta):** The Hazara Democratic Party (HDP) has paid tribute to the martyrs of January 10, 2013, and all innocent victims in Quetta, marking 13 years since the tragic killings that shook the Hazara community.
In an official statement, HDP said that even after 13 years, the memory of the martyrs remains fresh, reminding the nation of the horrific days of targeted killings and the genocide of the Hazara community. The statement recalled that following the bloody incident of January 10, another violent attack occurred on February 16, 2013, during a period when mass killings of Hazaras were rampant across the province.
The statement noted that innocent individuals from all walks of life—including political leaders, social activists, laborers, shopkeepers, vegetable vendors, taxi and rickshaw drivers, and government employees—were targeted in Quetta. HDP emphasized that it has consistently taken a province- and community-friendly stance against these acts of terrorism, raising the voices of the people through peaceful protests and advocacy.
Paying homage to the thousands of slain Hazaras, HDP reaffirmed its commitment to promoting tolerance, harmony, and brotherhood among all communities in the province. Prayers were offered for the elevated ranks of all martyrs during the commemorative event.
