Unknown Gunmen Attack Construction Company at Dam Project in Kohlu, Threaten Workers to Halt Operations
Kohlu: Unknown armed assailants opened fire on the vehicles and machinery of a construction company working on an under-construction dam project in Tamboo sub-tehsil, Kohlu, damaging several vehicles and threatening workers to stop their activities.
According to the SHO of Tamboo, the attack took place during the night between Sunday and Monday when the gunmen indiscriminately fired at the company’s vehicles. Several vehicle tires were burst, and construction machinery sustained damage in the attack.
Police said there were no casualties in the incident. Before fleeing the scene, the attackers allegedly warned the company’s employees to suspend work on the project.
Following the attack, law enforcement agencies inspected the site, collected evidence, and launched an investigation. A search operation is underway to identify and apprehend the unidentified assailants.
