Two of Quetta Quintuplets Die After Premature Birth, Three Remain Under Medical Care
Quetta: The joy of a local family in Quetta following the birth of quintuplets has turned into tragedy after two of the five newborn babies died due to health complications.
According to the family, the infants were in critical condition from birth and had been placed in intensive medical care. Despite doctors’ efforts, two of the babies could not survive.
Hospital sources said all five infants were born prematurely and had low birth weights, making them vulnerable to serious medical complications commonly associated with preterm births.
The remaining three babies continue to receive intensive medical treatment and are being closely monitored by doctors. Hospital officials expressed hope that their condition will improve with continued specialized care.
Relatives and members of the community have offered condolences to the grieving family, while many residents have prayed for the speedy recovery of the three surviving infants and strength for the parents during this difficult time.
