Field Marshal Asim Munir Vows to Crush Terrorism in Balochistan with Full Force

ISLAMABAD: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to eliminating terrorism in Balochistan, pledging that security forces will crush terrorist threats with full force.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Field Marshal made the remarks while addressing participants of the 20th National Workshop Balochistan during their visit to the General Headquarters (GHQ).
He said that externally backed proxy elements have been attempting to fuel violence, undermine stability, and disrupt peace in Balochistan. However, he asserted that their “malicious designs” would be defeated through the armed forces’ strong and decisive response, supported by the unity of the Pakistani people.
Field Marshal Asim Munir described Balochistan as the pride of Pakistan, highlighting the province’s vast natural resources and stating that its resilient, courageous, and patriotic people are its greatest strength.
He said the continued efforts of the security forces and law enforcement agencies would help establish lasting peace in the province. He added that targeted operations against Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan would continue.
According to the ISPR, the Field Marshal also emphasized the importance of national unity and steadfastness in shaping Pakistan’s future, stating that the country’s armed forces, with the support, determination, and resilience of the people, would foil all hostile designs against the nation.
