Kuwait Says Air Defenses Intercept Iranian Drones Amid Rising Regional Tensions

Kuwait has claimed that its air defense systems successfully responded to alleged Iranian drone attacks, taking immediate action to intercept the incoming unmanned aerial vehicles.
In a statement, the Kuwaiti military said its air defense units remain on full operational alert and continue to carry out defensive operations to counter hostile drones.
The military clarified that the explosions heard in various parts of the country were caused by air defense systems engaging and intercepting the attacking drones.
Authorities urged residents not to pay attention to rumors and to follow official instructions issued by relevant government agencies to ensure their safety.
Kuwaiti officials did not immediately provide further details regarding the number of drones intercepted, the extent of any damage, or possible casualties, adding that the situation remains under close monitoring.
