Two Suspects Wanted in Eight Murder Cases Arrested in Quetta, Weapons and Ammunition Seized

QUETTA: The Serious Crime Investigation Team (SCIT) of Quetta Police has arrested two suspects wanted in connection with eight murder cases during an intelligence-based operation, recovering a cache of weapons and ammunition.

According to police, the arrested suspects were identified as Abdul Razzaq and Muhammad Ikram. The operation was carried out in the Hazarganji area following intelligence reports, leading to the successful apprehension of both men.

Police said officers recovered a .223-caliber rifle, a submachine gun (SMG), three TT pistols, and dozens of rounds of ammunition from the suspects’ possession.

Acting on information provided by the suspects during interrogation, the investigation team also recovered additional weapons and ammunition from Quetta’s Qambrani Road area.

Police officials stated that both suspects were nominated and wanted in eight separate murder cases. The cases are currently under investigation by the Crime Branch, and further interrogation of the accused is underway.

The successful operation was conducted under the directions of SSP Serious Crime Investigation Captain (Retd.) Dost Muhammad Bugti. Police said the investigation is continuing and further developments are expected.
