Three Excise Officials Abducted in Armed Attack on Check Post on Dalbandin–Taftan Highway

Dalbandin: Three officials of the Excise Department were allegedly abducted by unidentified armed men during an attack on a temporary excise check post at Dhadar on the Dalbandin–Taftan Highway in Balochistan. The assailants also seized two government vehicles and official weapons before fleeing the scene.
According to police, the Excise Department personnel were performing their routine duties at the temporary check post when the armed attackers launched a sudden assault. The attackers took the officials hostage and escaped with government-issued vehicles and weapons.
Law enforcement agencies and police personnel rushed to the site immediately after receiving information about the incident. The area has been cordoned off, and a search operation has been launched to trace the attackers and recover the abducted officials.
Police sources said that investigations are underway from multiple angles. Authorities are also working to identify the perpetrators and determine the routes they used to escape.
Security agencies have intensified efforts in the region as the search operation continues to ensure the safe recovery of the abducted personnel and to bring those responsible to justice.
