Pakistan Railways to Restore Bulleh Shah Passenger Train Service from July 17

Lahore: Pakistan Railways has announced the restoration of the Bulleh Shah Passenger Train service between Lahore and Pakpattan via Kasur, effective from July 17, 2026, to facilitate commuters.
According to railway officials, Train No. 257 Up Bulleh Shah Passenger will depart from Pakpattan at 5:00 a.m. and travel through Kot Lakhpat, Jia Bagga, Raiwind, and Kasur before arriving in Lahore at 10:50 a.m.
Meanwhile, Train No. 258 Down Bulleh Shah Passenger will leave Lahore at 4:00 p.m. and reach Pakpattan Railway Station at 9:30 p.m.
The passenger train will consist of five economy-class coaches and one power van.
Pakistan Railways stated that the restoration of the service is aimed at improving travel facilities for passengers residing in the areas connected by the route.
